Rush Powers Media
Rush Powers Media is a full-service video production company led by seasoned media veterans. We have specific expertise in strategic video storytelling - for projects small, medium and massive in scope. Rush Powers Media collaborated with NovaCare Rehabilitation-a nationally prominent, locally driven provider of outpatient physical rehabilitation-to develop a series of three television commercials.

These spots highlighted various services provided by NovaCare. Our role in the project included creative development, logistical planning, shooting at multiple locations, voice-over casting and directing, music selection, video editing, graphics creation and delivery for broadcast. Rush Powers Media is collaborating with Rush University Medical Center's marketing team to produce 30-to-90-second video clips for each provider affiliated with the hospital.

These videos bring the provider's credentials and personality to life and accompany their Find-a-Doctor online profile. Our responsibilities on the project include appointment scheduling coordination and project management, as well as shooting/interviewing each doctor, editing each interview into a clip for review, supervising the review process, and delivering the final version of each clip in a web-ready format.
Services
Rush Powers Media is a full-service video production company led by seasoned media veterans.
At its core, RPM combines the nonprofit journalism and communications experience of Leah Rush with the entertainment television production and strategic video storytelling background of Dave Powers.
We specialize in collaborating with clients to identify essential messages that need to be communicated and delivering a clear and compelling product that effectively targets the intended audiences.
Often we will tackle projects that are deemed difficult, complicated or cost-prohibitive and deliver them on time and on budget - projects like these usually turn into recurring engagements for us.
Whether you need promotional or instructional video, event or news coverage, a recruitment video, or a crew for a television shoot, Rush Powers Media can accommodate you.
We offer full-service video production, which means we can handle every aspect of your project - from pre-production and shooting to post-production and delivery.
If you prefer, though, we can also work with you on just one part - or a couple of parts - of your video project.
For example, if you already have a bunch of footage that's been shot, and you want it edited down into something that quickly and effectively tells your story, we can do that.
Rush Powers Media collaborated with Rush University Medical Center to create a bariatric patient success story video.
The video includes a testimonial interview with a patient, photos provided by the patient, and informational interviews and supporting b-roll with members of the Rush weight loss and bariatric surgery team.
Our role in the project included project management, creative development, shooting and conducting all interviews, capturing reenactments and other supporting b-roll, video storytelling and editing, and delivery of the video in a web-ready format.
More than ever, patients and their families are turning to the web when researching health care decisions - searching for a physician or a hospital, looking up information on a procedure or treatment, or learning about other health care services.
A 30-to-60-second video clip highlighting a physician's credentials, philosophy of care and personality can accompany a profile in an online directory, be posted on a YouTube channel and more.
A testimonial interview from a patient is one of the most powerful ways to communicate the quality of care delivered by a health care provider.
Schools and educational programs have multiple audiences they are trying to reach.
The multi-sensory experience of video is one of the most powerful and versatile ways to connect with stakeholders - whether online, at an event or in a meeting.
Rush Powers Media has helped a variety of education clients tell their video stories and communicate their key messages.
A recruitment video illustrates the quality of a school's faculty, programs and students, and the success of its graduates.
An identity video highlights the mission and strengths of a university, college, department, program or auxiliary center, and can be crafted to connect with various audiences.
