We are visual storytellers that love to travel to beautiful places, hang out with good people, and capture moments that ought not be forgotten. If you're here because you're getting married, and you realized a still-photographer alone isn't going to capture all the sights and sounds of one of the incredibly rare days where everyone you know and love will be there.
We're not your run-of-the-mill wedding videographers, and we don't make cheesy videos that no one wants to watch. Our goal is to give you goosebumps every time you see your wedding film, and impress the hell out of everyone you know.

My name's Mauricio and I am currently the only full-time "employee" of The Goodfolk Film Co., though I expect that to change in the coming years!
Right now I work with a fantastic crew of peers, some of whom run their own businesses in weddings, documentary, photo-journalism, and more.
Usually, the way it works is one of these guys or gals will join me at a wedding to walk around capturing dope footage of brides, grooms, family members, & pick up the scenery and vibe at your wedding.
We've all got a good sense for that sort of thing!

It depends on what we're talking about.
In general, our style is to be emotionally present at your wedding and focus in on the love story that's unfolding.
And in the editing process, we pull together the most compelling and striking visuals we were able to get, along with sounds and dialog from the day, combined with badass music that makes everything even more epic.
During the day, we switch between being flies on the wall and being creative directors when the occasion calls for it.
It depends on what we're talking about.

In our contract, we allow ourselves "4-16 weeks" to deliver them.
It's a big window of time, because the earliest we could get it to you would be about 4 weeks, but it can take as long as 16 weeks, which is actually much shorter than other videography studios.
NOTE: Feature Films will take a longer period of time, but you'll get your short film as soon as it's ready.
Direct Feed into the ProAudio sound system your DJ/MC sets up for you.
We'll chat with them and get it working!
We refer to this as "House Audio".
